No Complaints. I Thought I Would Counter The Negative Reviews. With The Whole Sonos Debacle I Decided To Sell Up And Look Elsewhere. Little Did I Appreciate The Functionality Of The Denon Amp That Had Been ‘just’ My Living Room AV-receiver For A Couple Of Years. This App Has Unlocked It’s Potential And Provides A Perfectly Adequate Alternative To The Sonos App. Supports The 2 Zones On My Amp, And You Can Add Other Heos Devices For Multi-room. Supports Many Music Services, Plus Bluetooth.

We Gifted Ourselves With A Marantz PM7000N Last Christmas. Since Then, I’ve Been Buying Hi-Res FLAC Albums To Play Off A USB Thumb Drive. If I Use The Remote Or Front Panel Controls, Albums Play In The Intended Order. Via HEOS, They Would Play Alphabetically By The Title In Metadata, Not The Filename. Not Good For An Album Of Sonatas — You Get All The Adagios, Then All The Allegros, Etc. Just Updated This Morning, And It No Longer Plays Them Alphabetically By Title. They Are Now Just Randomly Scrambled. So, HEOS Developers: Call It A Feature. Auto Shuffle Play. We’re Looking At Setting Up A Music Server With Its Own Controlling Apps.

They Don’t Seem To Really Keep The App Up To Date As Android Continues To Develop. I’m Now Facing A Bug Where The Only Way It Recognizes Music On My Phone To Play Is Either From All Tracks Or Playing A Playlist. I Cannot Just Play Specific Artists Or Albums From My Phone. I Also Cannot Access Device Configuration From The App, Instead Only Getting A White Screen That Never Loads Anything. UPDATE 10/21/2020: App Now Crashes Anytime I Try To Browse Music Stored On My Phone.

App Is Very Broken. Which Sucks If You Were Unlucky Enough To Buy A Denon Amp. Dam Thing Needs 3 Other Apps. It Doesn’t Detect When They Are Install Already And Makes You Create A Tidal Acc With Facebook Then Asks For A Password You Haven’t Created. Serious Garbage, Makes A 3700h Trash. Avoid Denon, Coming From Onkyo Where Everything Was In One App And Just Worked, Very Annoyed, Prob Will Return And Buy Another Onkyo.

Good In That It Allows You To Set Up Truly Excellent Speakers. Poor In That When You Set Up A Room With More Than One Speaker, Even Give It A Name, As Soon As You Use Different Speakers It Looses The Configuration. A Year Later And No Progess
